Shakas Rock at a glance

Nestle between Ballito and Salt Rock you will find the area known as Shakas Rock. This area has properties ranging from holiday apartments to single dwellings and the elite Eco estate Simbithi. Its name comes from a promontory over which the Zulu chief Shaka, tested his men.

It is a popular holiday destination and well known for snorkelling, with a wide variety of fish, corals and other sea life.

From Ballito's main beach, highly recommended during low tide, one can follow a rugged walking trail to Shaka's Rock or itself through a hole in the cliff right below the beautiful Mikonos stile inspired Santorini Estate.
